Getting Involved Is Easy
The Lake Park neighborhood has been a sought-after sanctuary for residents with ready access to everything that C-U has to offer. With many common areas, there are numerous ways to enjoy the neighborhood. Helping maintain and improve the subdivision is a great way to connect with neighbors and enjoy the facilities.
Volunteer
Several volunteer groups and year-round opportunities to serve the community welcome new and old residents to get involved with Lake Park!
Serve on the Board
Every year, the Board of Directors elects three new members on the nine person board. If you would like to serve as a director, contact any Board officer about how to get on the ballot.
Visit the Commons
Lake Park has more than 20 acres of common areas that all residents are encouraged to enjoy. The lake, beach, access ways, shoreline, field of trees, Memorial Garden, and prairie are all owned commonly by residents.
Enjoy the Free Little Library
Located in the Memorial Garden, come enjoy a book from Lake Park’s shared library. Maintained by residents Susie and Sufi, the library has new materials often and donations are accepted year-round.
